James Strawbridge to Attend 'Journey to C'

30/03/2010

Edgetech is pleased to announce that James Strawbridge, well known for his eco-credentials, for being a well respected and knowledgeable television personality, and closer to home for being the face of the British Fenestration Ratings Council, will be attending its 'Journey to C' event at the Eden Project in Cornwall on Wednesday 14th April. Alan Fielder, Director of Sales and Marketing at Edgetech explains: "James Strawbridge has been working closely with the BFRC for a while now to promote the benefits of choosing rated Energy Efficient Windows, and as Giles Willson of the BFRC has supported the 'Journey to C' initiative from the beginning, he could see the synergy that James could bring to our practical workshops.
"James is fronting the BFRC's consumer and trade campaigns about the benefits of rated Energy Efficient Windows and the BFRC labeling scheme, telling householders to 'look for the BFRC label'. Our workshops are educating window companies about the proposed changes to Building Regulations as well as giving them all the specific information they need on the Window Energy Rating process, so to have James there supporting the day is fantastic news.
"James will of course be joining the industry experts that have supported the other events, including Giles Willson and Richard Bate of Buildcheck, and delegates will still be able to question the Independent Assessors attending on a one to one basis."
